Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the International Spy Museum. I'm Mark Stout, the

Museum's historian. It's a real pleasure to see you all here today. If I could take

this opportunity to remind you to shut off your

cell phones and that sort of thing so we're not interrupted and so it doesn't interfere

with the recording that we're doing for the podcast version of this. We're extremely fortunate today to have with us

Ms. Nada Proudy, the author of Uncompromised, The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of

an Arab American Patriot of the CIA.

Nada was born in Lebanon, but took the opportunity as a young woman to come to the United States.

Unfortunately, in the process of doing so, she committed, I think think a youthful mistake. She'll probably tell us about that today

Later when she applied to work for the FBI something she didn't have to do

She told them all about it and got a job and a clearance anyway.

That mistake would later come back to haunt her.

After serving selflessly overseas for the Bureau, she later moved to the CIA.

But soon, however, she descended into a security nightmare

as her former employer somehow came to the conclusion

she'd been spying for his ball-up.
