There is a lot of conversation in the health, fitness, and personal development spaces about men today being "soft," "weak" or "less masculine" than our forefathers...

On today's solocast, I share my views on this topic to bring a new perspective and shed light on a potential solution. The fact of the matter is, the modern-day man is navigating a lot of NEW challenges that no previous generation has encountered. This means that, to arm ourselves properly for the constant battle on our time, attention, and motives, we must be intentional about how we set goals and conduct our lives.

If you are called to, and ready to, step into the greatest version of yourself - whether through health or business, relationships or community - this episode is for you.

Plus, I've compiled some of the episode's most useful practices and action items into a free guide. Pick up your guide here!

You'll learn:

  • How High-Achievers Can Maximize their Productivity
  • Why Men are Ill-Equipped for Today's Challenges (and our Responsibility in it)

There's someone trying to steal your attention to so that you can spend your money on food,

and ultimately your money.

1:07.0

So they can control you and what you spend your money on, what you do.

1:24.6

And I want to call to your awareness that by necessity, you are the strongest population of men in the history of men in as much as you have to, by necessity, control your urges. Right?

1:25.6

There's never in the history of time as there have been cell phones

1:29.8

since we're young, right? It's our generation that's the first. Pornography, unlimited fast food,

1:37.3

unlimited exposure to women, right? So now we have to learn to be the strongest men of all time. And I think this

1:46.5

is a call to arms for our generation to say, you know, we're getting shit on as being like,

1:50.9

oh, we're not as masculine as our dads or granddad's bullshit. Like, they just had way

1:55.8

less temptation than we do. And we're learning to navigate these things for the first time.

2:03.1

And so I think we should take responsibility and say, yeah, I'm aware of all these things. I'm aware I'm being challenged.

2:08.8

And therefore, I'm going to learn about it. And therefore, I'm going to be fighting the good fight
