Welcome into a special Inside Carolina podcast, Inside the Lines, a complete preview of today's or this weekend's College World Series final, Carolina and Oklahoma.

Carolina have an open practice behind us here.

We all know how the Tar Hills got here.

Oklahoma took a little bit different route,

but it sets up for a great college world series finals.

Both of these teams are really trying to reach something.

Obviously, the national title would be Oklahoma's first national title in 31 years,

and the Tar Heels' first national title ever.

It makes a little bit more sense why UNC got here.

They were the fifth ranked seed when the committee seated the

whole bracket. Oklahoma, on the other hand, didn't even host a regional. They were sent to Atlanta in one of what was considered a pretty easy regional for Georgia Tech, who was ranked number two in the country, they were the ACC regular season and tournament champions.

And it came down to extra innings and oh, you beat them twice.

Funnily enough, these two teams are the only teams who have beaten Georgia Tech more than once to be playing for the national title.

And then they roll in to Kansas and they take that.

And they have really been on a heater.

They beat the Big 12 regular season and tournament champions,

the SEC regular season and tournament champions in Georgia here, two games.
