We had with us, of course, John W Loftus who is an atheist and Peter May and we heard the

extraordinary story really of John's conversion to Christianity and then

de-conversion out of Christianity to atheism and we had a very honest and

open and frank account from John about that and the things that led him to reject his faith and a fascinating conversation with

Peter May ensued our Christian guests. Well they're joining me again this

week and we're going to be specifically looking at the whole area of, if you like, why we choose our religion.

Now, John, our atheist contention on the show this week is that essentially people are born into their religion.

The vast majority of people are Muslim because they were born into a Muslim country and
