This is CBS, Eye on the World. I'm John Batchel. I welcome my colleague Peter Berkowitz of the Hoover Institution, writing his column at Real Clear Politics, about a tale of two reports.

The first report from the United Nations Human Rights Council, 58 Session, entitled Independent International

Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel.

And the report goes on with a summary conclusion and 44 pages of what overwhelmed me in reading it was fiction.

That's a polite term for it.

At the same time, there's another report that I recommend to everyone who can spend time

looking at what happened October 7, 2023.

This report comes from Lord Roberts, Andrew Roberts, a distinguished historian, supervising

what has to be very hard duty on his part and those who participated in not only listing what happened October 7th, but asking questions about

how this is possible for human beings to treat each other in that fashion.

There's no summary.

So I welcome Peter to explain the tale of two reports, one from the UN, the other from

Lord Robertson, an independent inquiry out of the UK and the U.S. Peter, I'd lost track of how it is in

the world of the UMA jihadist world uh they represent the way they see the world i'd forgotten i've forgotten

what genuine propaganda looks like is this a severe example you read these things you have time

to read these things and you bring them to my attention.

Is this an ordinary example or a severe example of what otherwise would be just a long

litany of falsehoods? Well, unfortunately, John, it's an example of the collaboration

between Islamist propagandists and corrupted UN institutions.

So apparently the subcommittee of this Commission of Inquiry of the United Nations Human Rights Council, a notoriously anti-Israel organization, has produced a report which goes so far as to as to use

secondhand single uncorroborated sources that is somebody who didn't really witness the event who heard about the event whose own account is not corroborated as if it's

some sort of dispositive evidence about war crimes committed by Israel in in Gaza.
