1:30.0 | name goes to the generic name of umacladinium. |
1:34.4 | All right, so this drug is a long-acting anti-muscarinic agent, also referred to as L-A-Rama therapy, so L-A-M-A. |
1:47.5 | And this is primarily going to be used in COPD. So how does this medication work? |
1:53.5 | Well, it blocks acetylcholine's action at muscarinic type 3 receptors. |
2:01.6 | And by blocking acetylcholine to action, |
2:05.6 | it's going to ultimately cause smooth muscle relaxation, |
