Kicking off Tennessee football fall camp happened on Tuesday. Fall practice number one is coming up this morning here on a Wednesday morning. But we're going to hear from Josh Hopple what he had to say about the Boo Carter situation, the quarterback competitions, all that and more. So from the top, Josh Heippel says, hey, Boo Carter is going to be a part of the football team, but he's got some things to do. Again, hear it from the man himself.

This is during his opening statement yesterday during media day over a Tennessee's complex.

This is what Josh Hoppo had to say about the week plus long saga that has been Boo Carter.

I know at some point I'm going to get a question about Boo, so I'm going to address that right now.

Boo is a part of our team here. There's some things that he's got to accomplish to get back on the field with us.

Don't have a set timeline on that. Our leadership council has been a part of those things, those discussions with me and with Boo. I'm proud of

what they've done. They care and love, Boo, and, you know, want him to be his best, too. And, you know,

through this thing, Boo sees that as well. And, you know, at the end of the day, us collectively continuing to grow here through the course of training camp.

I will be the one that will handle, take questions on Boo.

And that's today and here throughout the beginning part of training camp as well.

But I'm proud of how our team has handled those things,

and ultimately we'll handle those things internally.

I'm not going to get in details on everything.
