At around 830 local time, a helicopter carrying senior figures from the Interior Ministry crashed

outside Kiev, while heading towards the front line.

The aircraft came down on the roof of a kindergarten in the suburb of Brovarie, east of the capital,

killing more than a dozen people.

Ukraine's Interior Minister, Denis Monastirsky and his deputy were among the dead.

But the exact number of fatalities has been revised several times.

The editor of Ukrainian World, Vladimir Yermalenko, spoke to the BBC from the crash site.

There are several causes which are indistigated, but I can confirm that in the morning it was very foggy.
