The Michael Dairy Show is on the air. Kobe Keys family revealed overnight that the singer-songwriter passed yesterday and only 62 years old,

which is not entirely surprising because he had been battling a very, very

aggressive stomach cancer. And I think a lot of us had a hope last year when he

performed at the People's Choice Awards and he performed the song Don't Let the Old Man in.

And sure he looked terrible, his body was ravaged.

But he was a person of such faith and he remained so calm throughout it all.

I think the hope in all of us because we've all known

so many people who are on death's door and then they recover. A friend of

mine who's the head of the Houston Police

Officers Union, his granddaughter was born incredibly premature, months and months premature.

And they brought the family in to say goodbye to this little baby and she's still alive.

And her due date wasn't until February

till third week I think in February.

This baby's been with us for six, eight weeks already.

It's just incredible.

So you just keep hoping that things will turn out.

And they did not.
