Katrina, a very good evening to you and I have talked for decades about the nuclear weapon threat. Of grave concern is something to go wrong.

In this instance, what is going wrong is not human error, but is an exchange of we will not permit you to attack Russia with

storm shadow missiles. Mr. Zulensky traveled to the United States in these last days to ask for exactly that

permission. Is this nuclear branksmanship? How do you read this? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John. I mean, I read it as you spoke about ratcheting up, Putin and the Russian elite

ratcheting up, normalizing talk of higher nuclear use, etc.

But the ratcheting up is with the intent,

the interest on the part of Ukraine,

with elements of the US-NATO establishment to send storm shadow missiles to be fired deep into Russia.

And I think that is the big news.

Even if the storm shadows have been given the green light, we still don't know that's the case on the part of the US government.

Would this lead to Ukrainian quote victory? I think what you saw was Ellensky's trip, it was a kind of

last stitch effort. He could feel being overwhelmed by the partisanship of the

election and understands I think more and more
