Because amidst all the violence, the bombings, shootings and sieges, there are heroes on the food front line people working out how to feed a nation under attack

We try to open every day all the shops we can. The only problem is that there's not enough people.

This is Marco Servetti, one of the managers of Ukraine's biggest food retailer, the Fosy Supermarket Group, which has more than 700 stores

across the country.

Most of his staff are now either refugees or soldiers, but each day shops are still opening.

All the people from the office or all the people that wants to help us just go to the shop and help. In our company, around

65 shops have been destroyed or grabbing.
