Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Monday, March 24th.

Officials from Ukraine, Russia and the U.S. are in Saudi Arabia for separate talks on ending

the war. Russian state media is reporting that the Moscow and Washington delegations have

started their meetings, and the Kremlin says the Black Sea Green deal is high on the agenda.

I asked CNN's Claire Sebastian for the details.

Well, Joe, the talks today are about getting into the detail of how a partial ceasefire might work.

Not, of course, the full ceasefire proposal that Ukraine agreed to less than two weeks ago.

Of course, we remember that Russia's president Putin in a call with Trump last week rejected that, instead promising to stop attacks on energy infrastructure, which didn't happen.

So this week, the US and Russian teams will also, they say, look at stopping attacks in the Black Sea.

The Kremlin, though, playing down expectations, saying that those discussions would be not easy.

U.S. officials are traveling to Greenland this week,

and the Territory's Prime Minister is not happy about it.

Mutschebe Egar described the trip as highly aggressive in an interview with a Greenlandic newspaper.

A source familiar with the plans says the second lady will be part of the visit,

as well as National Security Advisor Mike Wals. The White House says the group will quote,
