week was that Vladimir Putin's Kremlin has deployed nuclear weapons to Belarus and an interview

with the dictator of Belarus, Lukashenko, presented a man who is hardly in charge of himself

to let alone nuclear weapons, standing in a military car park talking to a Russian

interviewer about how, well, we'll deploy them here and there and we'll use them if

and then he let it trail off. In other words, the demonstration of what the Soviet Union

used to look like, a large and boisterous man bragging a lot, never passed a glass of

vodka and left it filled and spend their lives confident that the security apparatus

will keep them in power. Mary Vladimir Putin has deployed nuclear weapons into the reach

of Lukashenko. Your measure, Mary, at this point is Russia running out of rational decisions

is that an end now they'll give weapons out to anyone?

Well, I think Vladimir Putin is going to do whatever he can to exert leverage over Ukraine,

but more importantly, Ukraine's allies in Europe to pressure Kiev to settle the war.

And one of the ways that he does this is through threatening the continent with a nuclear

confrontation and behaving erratically and giving them to a man in the form of Alexander

Lukashenko, who's a little bit crazy, John, when we went to Belarus to meet Lukashenko

and his team, he engaged in a kind of bizarre monologue for over an hour, talking through

many points. Well, I probably shouldn't go into what he said, but suffice to say this

is not a fellow who's in touch with reality. He doesn't like being dominated by Putin,

but he now understands that his power arrests almost entirely on Putin's assistance. And so

we have weapons now in Belarus again, as we did in the Soviet times, it's alarming. And
