We've been looking at the Air War in Ukraine, now the Ground War.

John, the report from London, this is the Financial Times in these last hours,

is that Russian forces are making advances on Pachrosk and on Merno Harad,

making advances according to the F.T. on the basis of adopting Wagner Group tactics

from more than a year ago that were successful for that group before its leader was assassinated.

What we're looking at here also is reporting from Ukraine

that the Russians are overwhelming the ability of Ukraine to hold on to its

front line positions. Drone's attack, dune buggies and motorcycles race ahead

towards the key forces and then Glyboms come in from out of nowhere.

And they feel overwhelmed, and there's too much to react to.

They can see it on their screens, but they can't give the orders that fast enough is

the gist of this report from the F.T. Is that comport with your information that

the Russians are using new tactics or old tactics that have been updated and that the

Ukrainians are falling back.

Yes, so Ukraine certainly faces a tough situation on the Eastern Front.

I wouldn't say that the Russian tactics are new.

I mean, essentially the same tactics they've been using for quite some time now.

So they assault typically below the company level often even just platoon or

squad level even you know so groups of like 8 to 30 men sometimes you have as much as a company or even a battalion in rare cases, but

the offense, these small assaults, and you know, sometimes even see them go smaller.
