We have a report, Jeff, from Europe that France and Germany do not see the same way in

the immediate future of this counteroffensive.

Since support set is pouring weapon systems in, McCrone is now apologetic about his early

efforts to have a dialogue with Putin at the same time Germany and it's in exact, but

it's a diplomatic report is hesitating at this point in the war.

NATO needs unanimity. You served in NATO. I'm going to guess being human beings, they're

never unanimous, but you have to wait. Is that accurate? Or are we seeing genuine descent?

I think we're seeing genuine descent on this question of the plan for the admission of

Ukraine into NATO. And that seems to be their worth sharpest divide right now publicly.

McCrone has said we need to create a clear path for Ukraine to arrive into NATO. The German

position a bit more hesitant, saying we cannot talk about that kind of clear path in the

middle of a war. Let's get the war over and we'll then talk about what that path looks

like. All those countries though have still maintained support for the general notion

of admission of Ukraine into NATO, which was in fact voted upon by the Alliance as far

back as 2008 at the Bucharest summit. But the timing of that is the question between McCrone

and the Germans. Germans, I think at the same time, have been pretty forthcoming in supporting

the war in the last few weeks. And don't forget, only a couple of weeks ago, Zelensky

and business Berlin and Olaf Scholz sitting atop by way a coalition government, which makes

his position politically somewhat more challenging, announced a $3 billion aid package of German
