war in the global north, between, well, therein lies the mystery. How do we count the two

or three or four sides? We begin in Moscow and the headlines in Moscow are alarming. In

general, I speak of escalation in each of these capitals. Russian commanders survive deadly

barracks attack because they were at a New Year's Eve party, says the London Telegraph.

Also, Ukraine war. Poland joins Finland in backing sending leopard two tanks to Ukraine. That's

of interest because it involves a German built weapon system. On Saturday, Poland's Prime

Minister said he could transfer leopard two tanks to Ukraine if a larger leopard coalition

is formed. Poland has been trying for months to ensure that modern heavy equipment, anti-aircraft

anti-missile equipment is delivered to Ukraine, said the Prime Minister on his Twitter feed.

Finland here to four considered a neutral power in Scandinavia, now intending to join NATO

along with Sweden. Also, VauSafes, the transfer of leopard two tanks to Ukraine. We have the

information that the U.S. has approved the transfer of light tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles

to Ukraine in addition to the Patriot missile systems. And then we have other headlines
