Connecting Russia to Crimea, the Bloomberg News Report.

Two Ukrainian drones caused explosions that damaged the flagship bridge to Crimea,

killing two people and causing the suspension of road and rail traffic.

We go to London reporting saying an emergency meeting at the Kremlin over this event.

All things have to be carefully understood.

There's no confirmation in a war. The first three reports are often wrong.

But a variety of sources now are pointing to damage to the

Kirchbridge in some fashion. It's not tumbled into the sea. This isn't a spectacular

guns of Navarone moment. But it does point to a major weakness for the Russian

defensive Crimea and in the Donbass. I welcome Brad Bowman of the Foundation for the

Defensive Democracies to help me understand first the tactical value of the Kirchbridge,

the strategic value of maintaining connection between Russian Crimea and what we know about the

Ukrainian counteroffensive so far. Then we will also speak of the NATO after the NATO summit results.
