U.S. forces conducted a series of strikes over the weekend against Iran-backed militant

groups in Iraq and Syria in retaliation.

The last weekend's attack in Jordan that killed three U.S. soldiers.

The strikes, which were carried out by the U.S. Central Command Forces, included more than 85

targets across seven facilities used by groups affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard

Corps, Koods Force. Those targets include command and control centers, intelligence

facilities, and weapons storage facilities,

used by the Iran-backed militias to attack U.S. and coalition forces.

The Biden administration, for reasons only Allah knows, gave Iran a heads up.

They were going to be carrying out these attacks before those attacks actually began.

The escalation and conflict between Iran and Western forces in the Middle East could be headed directly for Iran, as national security advisor Jake Sullivan told NBC News on Sunday.

Well, sitting here today on a national news program, I'm not going to get into what we've

ruled in and ruled out from the point of view of military action.

What I will say is that the president is determined to respond forcefully to attacks on our people.

The president also is not looking for a wider war in the Middle East.

But is it off the table? Are strikes inside Iran off the table?
