The acting director of Immigration and customss Enforcement, Patrick Lechleitner, confirmed to the Daily Caller yesterday during a press conference.

They did indeed let that al-Shabaab terrorist across the southern border illegally free in our country last year.

He walked the earth in the U.S. of A for nearly a year before being arrested in Minnesota

a few days ago. The Daily Callers, Jenny Terror asked Lek-Lightner how many more terrorists might be

in the country. Well, I can say for this individual, within 48 hours, excuse me, of ICE

becoming aware of his status on the watch list. Within 48 hours, he was

apprehended. And I want to commend our personnel because as soon as we became aware of that,

within 48 hours he was apprehended and he's currently in ICE custody. So I think that's an

incredible result and just a testament to how professional and you know quite you know

honestly how capable our personnel are again the question that that was in response to was

how many more terrorists did ice actually let go into the country you'll notice I don't

think he actually answered the question that's not encouraging defense secretary

Lloyd Austin is apologizing for how he

handled his absence while he was in the ICU getting treatment for prostate cancer.

We did not handle this right and I did not handle this right. I should have told the president about my cancer diagnosis.

I should have also told my team and the American public.

And I take full responsibility.

I apologize to my teammates and to the American people.

Still boggles the mind how our defense secretary could just check out and literally nobody

knew where he was.
