president of Russia in these last days. There has been talk about the possibility

of sending NATO military contingents to Ukraine. The consequences for possible

interventionists will be tragic. And then we also have weapons that can

hit targets on their territory.

All this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons

and the destruction of civilization.

Don't they get that.

Here we are again, Jeff. Nuclear weapons in Vladimir Putin first mentioned in 22 repeated

in 23 here in 24. I don't know do you hear a different note from him do you hear talk about how it's getting

closer this idea if you send NATO military contingents to Ukraine what's he

talking about I mean he doesn't control Ukraine yet, just a piece of it.

What he's talking about is using nuclear weapons as a tool to intimidate and deter action on a possible opponent.

And that really I would say in general this is the third time in very general sense that

Putin has done it.

He did it at the very onset with the invasion of Ukraine to

intimidate the West in its willingness to quickly provide the Ukrainian's

military assistance and you will have to say to some degree he was successful.

The first year or so as we dribbled resupply to the Ukrainians

was for a wholesale fear on the part of the West

to include the United States
