EU debates return to Russian gas as part of Ukraine peace deal.

Subhead, advocates say reopening pipelines could help settlement with Moscow and cut energy costs.

Anatole, this is a surprise, but not a surprise to me,

because for some time now, years maybe,

it's been obvious that the conversion from Russian energy

to a substitute alternative was not going well.

Europe enjoyed what was described to me as two mild winters.

This one is not so mild. In addition, there are many members of the EU dissenting openly from

continuing the Russian war. The big one is Germany, but right now, let's speak to the European

Commission. Your thoughts about European

officials debating whether Russian pipeline gas sales to the EU should be restarted. Does this mean

the end of the beginning of the war with Ukraine? Does this move us to a negotiating position?

Because from my point of view,
