We continue at Brussels, at Twin Capital, NATO and the EU. The EU is profoundly troubled by a slowdown

in manufacturing and the only thing that's growing in the EU is the migrant story from North Africa, which overwhelms all the

considerations. At the same time, we have the third winter of war and now Rasmussen, the former head of NATO is suggesting a compromise which doesn't

sound too surprising Russia keeps the Don Bass and Crimea and the remainder of Ukraine, which is everything vaguely

west of the Nepper, joins NATO, making it secure.

What is Brussels point of view at this moment, Professor?

Brussels, I think is suffering from the hearing the kind of the siren song or in

they're in the midst of a very very important struggle and they don't want to do what they know they have to do.

So as was the case when World War II was breaking out, they decide to try to deal with aggression by appeasing

aggression.
