I'm John Batchel with my colleague Simon Constable in the south of France, where there's spring in the air.

The tulips are awakening.

I won't see my tulips for another six weeks, thanks to Groundhog Day.

However, Simon's already got it.

No snow on the ground.

I have lots of snow on the ground.

Simon's in the 50s already.

I'm boasting that we might reach the 40s. It's been sub-zero for days now. However, we're moving to the chilly confines of

Parliament, where the overwhelming labor majority is led by Kirstarmer, the, the prime minister, Sir Kier-Starmer.

There's a headline in the telegraph this morning, London telegraph, to say Trump's done 100

things in a day and Mr. Starrmer's yet to do anything. What is the unhappiness with Starrmer

back home, Simon? Can you characterize it? Yes, very easily. He hasn't had a win. Now, by a win,

I mean delivering a promise you had given during the campaign to become Prime Minister, Mr. Stalmers,

campaign, which gave overwhelming votes to the Labour Party.

There were lots of promises.

It seems already that many of those promises have been broken, not only not delivered, but

also broken and gone the opposite direction.

And they've been in power for six months or so. And it just begers belief, one of the first

things that a prime minister or a leader of a party should do when they're in power is to

deliver something they promised. Then you build up a little bit of political capital with the

public and then you can start saying, well, we've got some bad news.

We might have to do this because, but people will remember the good stuff.
