conflict off the battlefield. We begin with recruitment

but there is a headline in London

suggesting that the foreign minister of

Poland, a significant player in this resistance to Russian aggression.

Poland has absorbed millions, as I understand it, of Ukrainian refugees and has clearly augmented its military force so that it is a strategic

threat to Russia. Now the foreign minister Sikorski says,

stop the benefits for Ukrainian refugees so they go home.

He's talking about men have the duty to defend their country.

This is the sort of disorder that makes everyone else in the EU and NATO hesitate to continue to support Ukraine when you have what were once generally understood as resistors or pacifists or draft Dodgers in nearby

Poland and not returning to the call of their government to defend the front lines.

John, the detail here is the last time we talked about under-manned Ukrainian forces,

you said the Russians were 10-1.

Has there been any improvement in the prospect of Ukrainian recruitment

over outside of Ukraine or inside of Ukraine?

Right, so yeah, as you say some Ukrainian officials have said that the correlation of forces in parts of the front, especially near Procross, is 10 to 1.

I'm not sure that the number's exactly right, but Russia certainly has a manpower

advantage. So mobilization for Ukraine is a key issue, arguably the most important issue looking ahead for the rest of this this year next.
