Summary
Does saying “no” make you feel like you’re going to die? Are you so fixated on taking care of everybody around you that you neglect yourself? People socialized as women are taught that they are responsible for everyone else’s thoughts and feelings, and that their value comes from taking care of others…so it’s no wonder that so many of us struggle with people-pleasing.
