Sorting out these threads is what compels host Toby Ball in the podcast, Strange Arrivals.

I had this idea that I wanted to do something about skepticism and belief, but how do you

access that in a way that people are going to find interesting?

Unlike many other documentaries series, which center on proving or disproving extraordinary claims, Strange Arrivals goes deep into the historical and social context around extraterrestrial accounts

by weaving together eyewitness testimony, expert interviews, and rare archival tape.

For the last two years, I've been lucky enough to work with Toby on producing strange arrivals,

the second season of which concludes tomorrow, August 3rd.

In light of that occasion, we wanted to take the opportunity to hear more about his approach to the show,

the motivation behind it, and how he's learned to think about lights in the sky.
