Sorry it has been so somewhat infrequent here that we've been able to be live the last few weeks.

There's just a lot going on, and I know you understand what I'm talking about, and I appreciate your patience.

But we do have a live show for you tonight, and it's going to be a great one.

Alan Steinfeld will be with us tonight.

He is an explorer of consciousness.

He's also the producer and host of a television series called New Realities, and he's

written a book called Making Contact.

We'll be talking about UFO phenomena and related ideas throughout the course of the

conversation tonight with Alan, looking forward to that.

And I'm also looking forward to being here and doing what we all enjoy doing, which is

talking about some of these topics, which are curious and mysterious in a lot of different

ways. And one of the things, I think it was, was it last week we had trying to remember,

the dates get all confused for me, but we had the guest on that was talking about the taking of Mr. Exxon.

Remember the kidnapping of Sydney Riso, the president of Exxon?

That occurred in, was it, 1992?

We had that conversation. And I found it a bit interesting that I hadn't really heard a lot about that particular case.

I mean, it really was kind of a landmark case and quite a newsworthy event.

Of course, he did explain that L.A. was under riots and under siege, basically, because of the Rodney King police verdict at the same time.
