Now, today I got an excellent question from one of our subscribers and she asked, how do I start closing clients before I have demonstrated results in order to close them?

So it sounds like a chicken or egg question and it's a really good question to be asking. It's the right question to be asking because we all know that obviously one of the fastest, easiest ways to grow your business is to learn how to use case studies.

Testimonials and success stories, what I like to call results-based selling, to really make an impact, share your message, and get clients to see why actually spending the money to work with you is going to make them money.

I have four key things that anyone listening can do to increase your confidence and also show tangible evidence of your capabilities, your potential, and the way that you're going to make an impact even before you're really deep into servicing your ideal clients.

So we all know that social proof is one of the most important elements of making key connections, getting noticed, and developing partnerships that are going to really skyrocket your success in your business.

So today I'm going to give you four key things that you can do to translate your past experience and leverage your past career, your last business, your last job, the people that you've helped into testimonials, success stories, and results that you can use to sell today no matter who you're selling to or what type of sale you're trying to make.

This strategy is going to be super successful for you in every launch that you do on your website, when you share your programs, when you're having discovery calls, whatever it is. So let's get down to business. Here we go.

The first one is I want you to really focus on leveraging your past experience.

So one of the biggest mistakes that I see entrepreneurs making is that when they start a new business, they completely discount what they were doing in their previous careers.

Because many times when you start a new business, you're not doing the same thing that you were doing in your previous career or so you think.

Yes, you may be going into a completely unrelated industry. You may be doing something that has nothing to do with what it was that you were doing in your past career or job.

However, you are still you, which means that most likely you found a way to use that skill, that experience, or that passion in some way shape or form in your past experience.

Also, there were skills that you developed in your previous job career or business that are going to directly correlate with what's going to make you so successful and have such a strong ability to impact your clients and customers in your next venture.

So remember, it's not that what you're doing needs to be the same. It's not that necessarily you are getting into the same niche or the same industry or even a business that has anything to do with what you did in the past.

Your job is a sit down and to write down all the skills that you use, all the competencies that you developed, all the experiences that you had, all the responsibilities that you had in your past career or job and then find the overlap.

Now, this is an exercise where you actually have to sit and be quiet and get a pen and paper out and actually use your brain a little bit and most people don't take the time to do that.

So instead, they feel like they don't have the competencies. They feel like they have to go get another degree or they need to study for another year or they need to spend more time getting mentored before they can go out and do the business.
