| 0:36.0 | So enjoy today's throwback. We'll see you on the next slide. |
| 0:40.0 | Today we're talking about when is the right time to start a business. And the answer to that is the right time to start a business is when you are committed to following through. |
| 0:53.0 | There is no perfect time of life. There is no perfect time for you financially. There is no perfect age that your kids can be. There's never going to be an easy time to start a business. |
| 1:04.0 | I absolutely guarantee you that. But I can tell you that now is certainly the lowest barrier to entry. And there's the most cost effective, best easiest tools ever to build a business, no matter where you're starting from, and to make it wildly profitable, very, very quickly, if and only if you are committed. |
| 1:28.0 | Now, the bright, shiny object, the beautiful pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that everyone's thinking about when they dream of starting their own business is being free in unlimited income, having the ability to live and work and travel over the world, being your own boss. |
| 1:49.0 | And all of those things are absolutely true and they do come with growing your own successful business. |
| 1:55.0 | However, most people are not cut out to be entrepreneurs. I'll just say it because being an entrepreneur requires a level of mental toughness, a commitment, a passion, a fire, a drive that most people just simply don't have. |
| 2:11.0 | It's a rocky road. I share this all the time. Being an entrepreneur includes wild swings every single day of ups and downs. And at the end of the day, while you may not be reporting to anyone else and you may have the freedom to make all of your own decisions, you also have the freedom to make all of your own decisions, which means you own all of your successes, you own all of your failures, and you have to be really ready to commit to that lifelong journey of success. |
| 2:40.0 | That no matter what attitude. So if you are a person that when you set a goal for yourself, you are willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal, you should start a business right now. |
| 2:55.0 | Because whatever it is that you dream of, chances are you're going to follow through, you're going to find the will and where there's a will there's always a way to be successful in whatever you strive to do. |
| 3:08.0 | On the flip side, if you're someone that starts a lot of things, but don't finish them necessarily, then starting a business could be a huge money drain for you and your family. |
| 3:19.0 | You could waste a lot of time and a lot of money and never actually get to the point of being profitable and actually seeing the result, actually making it to the other side of the rainbow, which is the pot of gold of everything that comes with the beauty of being an entrepreneur. |
| 3:34.0 | So if you're someone that starts a lot of projects, but doesn't necessarily finish them, I wouldn't invest a lot of time in money and starting a business. |
| 3:42.0 | Because until you're at the point in your life, where you are at that level of no matter what, where everything in your being, your heart, your mind, your soul, your body is so committed to this outcome that you will give anything that it takes. |
| 3:59.0 | You are willing to get up early, you are willing to stay late, you're willing to work on the weekends, you're willing to sacrifice your sanity at times, you're willing to do what it is that most other people are not willing to do, then that is the time for you to start a business. |
| 4:15.0 | So many times people don't see the instant gratification that they want to see in starting a business, and so many times they kind of dwindle off in terms of the amount of time and energy and focus that they put into it. |
| 4:29.0 | That's why there's people out there, quote unquote, that have been in business for six or seven years, but they're still not profitable, they're still not making money from it, because that level of commitment is not there. |
| 4:42.0 | So the first step, if you think that you want to start a business is to look at your life and look at where you can create some white space, look at where can you release a couple things to make space in your life to build a business, what things can you cut out, what things can you outsource, what things can you get help with. |
