| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the Total Soccer Show. |
| 0:25.6 | My name is Daryl Grove and I'm joined by a man who has definitely done his Champions League research. |
| 0:31.0 | His name is Taylor Rockwell. |
| 0:33.1 | Hello. |
| 0:33.5 | Hello, I certainly have. |
| 0:34.8 | I tweeted about it last night and got the response of you're re-watching Manchester United Chelsea instead of watching Cocking Calf Champions League. It wasn't for pleasure. It was for research. Here's how I know. I asked, are you ready to go? Are you ready to record? And you said, I've just got to add a couple graphics to my notes. I was like, oh dear, all right. lineups, baby. You're making me feel nervous about my research. See, I think this is a difference between us, and it's really not a positive or negative one way or the other. |
| 0:57.8 | I just tend to like to have, like, a potential starting 11 in front of me. |
| 1:01.8 | I feel like it gives me a point to kind of reference consistently, |
| 0:52.7 | whereas I feel like you're better at kind of keeping that in your head and not being quite as reliant on like, |
| 0:55.3 | he's going to go here and that means this. |
| 0:56.9 | You're a bit more jazzed. |
| 0:58.5 | I'm noncommittal. |
| 1:00.1 | Sure. your head and not being quite as reliant on like he's going to go here and that means this. You're a bit more jazz. I'm non-committal. Yeah, sure. So we got some interesting games is how I'm going to phrase this one. We certainly do. So the games coming up next week. We're recording this on Friday. These are next week's Champions League, round of 16 first lead games. Chelsea Bayern on Tuesday, that one's on TNT. |
| 1:01.4 | Napoli, Barcelona, that same day. |
| 1:29.6 | Leon Yuvay is Wednesday, and Real Madrid-Man City, also Wednesday. |
| 1:32.2 | That game is obviously on TV. |
| 1:36.2 | That's on TNT. |
| 1:38.3 | Shall we get started? |
| 1:40.7 | We shall. |
| 1:41.9 | All right, let's start with Tuesday's game. |
| 1:42.5 | The game that's on TNT, Chelsea versus Bayern. I think from the top, I'm going to assume no Christian Pulisic. That seems to be the case. He was obviously out for the Man United game. He's already been ruled out for the Spurs game this weekend. Stans to reason that they wouldn't take the risk on then starting him in a league Champions League game. So yes, I'm going to assume no Polisic. So we have to just pretend we're Canadian if we want to get involved in this in a North American way. That is absolutely correct, yes, which is sad because I would have enjoyed seeing Polisic, I guess not on the same side as Alfonso Davies, but they could have been on opposite sides sort sort of representing Conca Caff and doing it well. Instead, we'll probably get something similar to what we saw this past week. We'll get probably Pedro on the left, William on the right, maybe Hudson Adoy in there, but that would be my guess. But it is the kind of question about Chelsea is, what do they do with some of their injuries or how big of a concern of those injuries? What are those injuries? Ingolokane, subbed out first half against Manchester United. Dund, Dund, Dund. |
| 1:43.8 | Dund. is what do they do with some of their injuries or how big of a concern of those injuries? What are those injuries? Angoloconte subbed out first half against Manchester United. A doctor injury will be out at least five weeks. So no Angolocante in this game. The other big one would be Tammy Abraham, who did not play against Manchester United, has, I guess, reportedly, been dealing with a significant amount of pain, playing through pain, had pain-killing |
