We have a great guest this week.

We thought that it would be interesting to talk to a coach who

has a little bit more experience than most in coaching through times of extraordinary

chaos and no football.

No football, a good way to put that.

That is Bill Clark, the head coach at U. A longtime high school coach

former defensive coordinator at South Alabama and football coaching lifer. So

the conversation is about a half hour and was there anything we should make the people aware of Richard before we start?

Yeah, this is a this is your guy in there right? You're big on you a B. I am big on you aAB. I think I mean UAB has for 2020 if we are able to play football this year a really interesting team because you know you'll remember they shut down the program for a couple of years. They come back, you know, in 2017 they come back in 2018

they win conference USA with a roster loaded with junior college players. We'll talk

about that a bit with Coach Clark and you know they are a program that has just kind of been through a ton of chaos in the last few years and

Though they're of course bigger things than this pandemic's effect on football this is one

of them so we'll talk about that and if they are able to play in 2020 we think they're

going to be very good because of all the players they have back you know they have

the quarterback back Tyler Johnston who led Conference USA in

yards per throw last year they've got almost all of their top rushers and

receivers back and I think five of their top six tacklers so interesting team to

watch. Yeah they play a really
