A month into a ceasefire and the U.S. military has launched a new round of airstrikes on Iran.

The U.S. says it struck Iranian military facilities,

but Iran claims civilian areas were hit, too, something that as of this morning has not been

confirmed. The attacks came in response to strikes on American warships earlier in the day,

which Iran says came in response to the U.S. firing on an Iranian oil tanker one day earlier. No American vessels

were actually struck, but this might not be the last of the fighting. President Trump warned

if Iran doesn't sign a deal soon that, quote, will knock them out a lot harder and a lot more

violently. But he also said the ceasefire is still in effect, something Iran seems to dispute.

Either way, a deal is not
