On Friday, January 30th, millions of people participated in a nationwide action called

Shut It Down, no work, no school, no shopping.

Hundreds of thousands of people were in the streets and mass demonstrations, high school students all over the country

were walking out of school and joining these protests. We have entered a new political stage

inside the United States. We need a new system. We need a new society.

We need to demand that which may have sounded impossible even a few weeks ago, but is not

only realizable, but an imperative necessity. We are excited to have Professor Richard Wolfe join us again for our regular weekly segment

where we talk about the biggest stories related to the economy, the crimes of big business,

and what's happening with the working class.
