and former backers are all visibly deciding who should get the honour of painting over

that hideous and expensive wallpaper which got him and carry in so much trouble.

The runners and riders are limbering up for what could be a particularly bruising leadership

contest.

The right-wing press are considering their next moves, and Keir Starmer, thanks to the

Durham Police, lives to fight another day.

You did two great shows yesterday, I kind of felt left out.

Well, you know what they say, you always get replaced by a younger, browner model.

Very quickly before we get into the main body of the show, what has your experience

of the past three days been?

Have you been looking on as an entertain spectator or have you been feeling kind of alarmed

by the speed at which an entire government can collapse?

That's such a great question.

I think for me, it's been almost like a sense of deja vu, and I've not been too gleeful

about the whole thing because, of course, you remember the collapse of the May government,

which took a far longer period of time, in a sense, because she had multiple votes against

her with regards to the EU withdrawal bill.

She had the motion no confidence, obviously, the checkers deal didn't work out before
