Look for Rahman was a counsellor and leader of the Tower Hamlets Labour Group from 2008

until 2010. Initially selected as the party's candidate for the mayor for Tower Hamlets

race in 2010, a new role was subsequently removed. He then went on to win as an independent

and from 2010 to 2015 was Tower Hamlets mayor before in 2015, an election court officially

reported Rahman to be personally guilty of election fraud under the representation of the people

act in 1983. Rahman was subsequently removed from office with immediate effect and was barred

from standing for elected office until 2021. Now he's back. Earlier this month Rahman completed

one of the most stunning comebacks in British political history as he not only won the Tower

Hamlets Merylty but his new party Aspire gained control of Tower Hamlets Council. Estonishingly,

Aspire gained more counsellors in England, 24, than Labour did, 22. Look up, welcome to Downstream.

where it is and what it's like as a place? Sure. It's a wonderful place to be. It's a microcosm

of what London is. Multicultural, diverse, vibrant. We have an interesting population profile.

We have an elderly population and a very young population and then we've got people in between.

It's a very nice place to be in. We have Kenner Wolfe in Arbara, the second largest business

centre in Europe after the city of London. We have a lot of opportunities but we have extremes.

On the one hand, we have extreme wealth. On the other hand, we have extreme poverty.
