The police probe into Party Gate has ended with a total of 126 fines issued for lockdown breaches

on Downing Street. The outcome means the building where Covid rules were made is the one

where the most fines were received for breaking them, but Boris Johnson will nonetheless be relieved.

That's because other than a fixed penalty notice for a surprise birthday party,

he's come off scot-free. This was his response to the Met's announcement.

Are you going to apologise for the scale of law of breaking under your watch?
