Pincher by name Pincher by nature. That's what Boris Johnson is alleged to have said about

Chris Pincher before he made him deputy chief whip. There have been lots of denials flying around

this weekend as to what the Prime Minister did and didn't know. They are all unraveling.

I'm joined by Ash Sarkar to talk about another self-inflicted crisis that's facing

Boris Johnson's Conservative Party. How are you doing, Ash? I'm very well, but I'm a bit perturbed

by how many representatives of our governing party turn out to be sex pests. It's a bit

disconcerting. I mean, disconcerting is only one way of putting it. I mean, it's pretty extraordinary.

It's pretty gross. We are going to be discussing that tonight. We should say, of course,

with Chris Pincher, this is all alleged. I don't think he's explicitly admitted to anything

or been found guilty in a court of law, but the number of allegations flying around in Westminster

are definitely enough to cause alarm. Also on tonight's show, we are talking about the latest

COVID numbers. I'm sure you'll know that on the up. A new moral panic this time about babies

of the world. A double-edged sword there, Boris Johnson, is once again in hot water. That's because

it has been revealed he knew of sexual misconduct allegations against Chris Pincher before making him

deputy chief whip back in February. After a weekend of increasingly unconvincing denials,

Johnson's spokesperson today said, at the time of the appointment, the Prime Minister was not

aware of any specific allegations being looked at. The Prime Minister was aware of media reports

that others had seen over the years and some allegations that were either resolved or did not

proceed to a formal complaint. He was aware that there had been reports and speculation over
