Good evening. We have two absolutely appalling stories for you this evening,

both related to the home office. So one, the story I'm sure you will have heard about.

The astonishing number of children who have gone missing from hotels,

asylum-seeker children, home office, complete their election of duty.

Also, more revelations from the Metropolitan Police about sexual abuse.

I mean, it just keeps getting worse and worse. Second half of the show, we're going to be talking

about Westminster stories. So the continued route going on about Nadim Zahawi.

And we're just finding out more and more and more when it comes to the BBC and how

my it seems to be in Tory scandals. It can't really position itself as a sort of external

neutral arbiter when it's so involved as it currently is. I'm going to be joined all

evening by Daliya Gabriel. And before we get going, just a quick mention that today was the

first ever official strike in the UK for Amazon workers. The strike is taking place at the

Coventry Warehouse overpaying conditions where workers even claim that their toilet breaks

are timed. We won't be discussing the story in detail on tonight's show, but do keep an eye

on our channel tomorrow as our Labour correspondent, Police Smive, will have a video report for you.

The home office has long been using hotels to accommodate thousands of asylum seekers. That

follows an increase in the number of people arriving by small boats, but it's also because of

repeated home office failures to properly manage their own processing centres that led to a number

of crises last year in places like Mansden. Now amongst those being sent to hotels are

unaccompanied children. And it has now been revealed that a lot of them are simply disappearing.

Minister for Immigration, Robert Jenry, appeared in Parliament to answer an urgent question
