The Civil Servants are the latest group to have said they're going out on strike.

They'll be on strike on the 1st of February, 100,000 of them going to be big.

Today though, we're talking about a group of workers on strike as we speak,

the ambulance workers. I might be speaking to someone who is taking strike action today.

Good. I've been, I've had quite a slow day today,

been like lowering the tone of my life by reading snippets of Harry's memoir on Twitter.

So this will hopefully kind of bring me back into the serious world,

because I've had a very unserious day.

Am I allowed to say this, Dahlia, that you messaged me about 5pm saying,

are we not going to talk about Harry?

I know. I had so many, I just had so, it's purely selfish. I just wanted to gossip.

We talked about it last Friday. I feel like I can't be bothered to, it's not even like a political

judgment, like I don't want to use up Tisky time talking about it. It's just like I can't

bother to watch the interviews. So I'm not up today on it. Maybe something will happen that

grabs my attention in the coming days. Ambulance workers are currently out on a 24-hour strike

The dispute is overpay and conditions. The government offered ambulance workers a 4.75%

pay rise last year, but the unions argue that isn't nearly enough to offset the rising cost

of living with inflation, having hit 11% in 2022. But ambulance workers have also expressed

concern over the broader crisis in the NHS and falling standards of patient safety.
