it to go. I didn't know one person in Hollywood, but I think to get into this industry,

you have to be resourceful and you have to want to learn, and it really is an apprenticeship

business. I ended up doing everything I could to land internships. Anytime there was someone

connected to Hollywood, I would just say, hey, I want to be a producer one day. What's your advice?

I remember Barry Levinson was one of the first bona fide people that I ever met in Hollywood.

He happened to move into a neighborhood where I lived and was at a Christmas party. That was my

chance. Excuse me, Mr. Levinson, I want to be a producer. He said, if you want to be a producer,

you should learn every job in the business.
