it. If you're a writer, you have to always write. If you're a comedian, you always have to tell jokes.

Wherever it is, you have to have that opportunity to always tell jokes. And it was one of the things I

learned from Letterman. You never miss that opportunity. Don't be preachy. Don't take yourself too

seriously. If you're doing a talk show, if you're doing a performance on a program, you better

have the goods. And that comes from writing and performing and doing what you say you are.

If you're an actor, you have that. Wherever you can.
