And now look who the opening day starter is. So you got to wear that one. I do. I know. It's a good,

good title I have. I'm excited for it.

But yeah, I mean, it was too, you called it too soon. So now, now that's there, I'll own up to it.

Okay, good. Good. Now we're all on the same page. I appreciate that. So how did they tell you?

Uh, I went into, cash just called me into his office and mentioned it like very casually, like Cash usually does, and just said, like, you, yeah, your opening day starter.

That's who he decided to go with.

And I think he thought the pitching coach told me prior.

And he kind of mentioned it, but like we never, they did it like very casually, which I appreciated.

I kind of like that vibe more anyway.

So it's very like cash to do that.

So is it a big deal? Like do you get all tingly and stuff or is it not a big deal? I think a little bit. It's cool to like that they have

the confidence in me to to go and do that. Like it makes me feel pretty good that they like I'm the

opening day starter. But I think more so of like I never not like I never understood the opening day starter thing but you still got to make 30 something starts

and you line up so much differently anyway that like it only really means anything the first

series everyone has like different off days and stuff so but yeah it's super meaningful I mean it meant

a lot to me but it's still like I got to go out and just make my starts, regardless if I'm like one to five, still got to go pitch well.

Did you call the parental units?

I told my, actually, I think they found out from like online.

I just, it wasn't like, oh, I have to tell my parents.

I was very much just like, oh, okay, normal, like, cool, I'm opening day starter.
