And happy opening day to all of our amazing fans out there and our wonderful major leaguers, including you, Arch.

Yeah, I mean, this is a national holiday.

Opening day is as good as it gets. And I think regardless of what season you have, there's something special about opening day. It is the start of a big week season. I'm honestly, I'm getting chills talking about it.

So is it different now that you're in a different uniform?

For sure. This will be my first opening day, not as a Diamondback, which that's all I've ever known,

but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I mean, Philly is, we talked about in the previous episode.

They are, they're the fans for better or for worse. And so I'm definitely excited to see what Philly does for opening day. So what was your first opening day like? Do you remember it? Yeah. So I kind of have

two in a way. I was part of in 2014, I went to Australia with the with the Diamondbacks to play

the Dodgers. Oh, yes.

I was a non-raster guy, and I got to be a part of opening day over in Australia.

So it wasn't in the big leagues yet, but I got to experience it.

That was really cool.

And then my first one in 2015, where I knew I was on the team,

going to make my debut a couple days later, was something I'll never forget. All right. Let's start with Australia. I didn't even know that you had gone,

but I remember that series. What was the coolest part of the entire thing?

Honestly, I think just getting to go. Like, you know, a lot of guys complain about those trips, about the travel

and it's a pain. And I get it. I mean, I can definitely see it now being, having a few years under

my belt. But I just thought it was so cool, man. I'd seen in years past, I'd seen the all-star

teams, you know, the series through Japan and and playing overseas, playing in Mexico.

And so to get to be a part of that and get to take baseball, they completely changed the
