Hey, what's going on, everybody? Thank you so much for listening to this week's message from Zoe Church.

We're starting 2025 off with a book study. We're actually studying two books of the Bible together,

First and Second Timothy. So excited to study these books together. And we're going to jump into

1 Timothy chapter 1 in just a moment but i want to thank

give but let's jump into this week's message two things you can't live without go in your

bible first timothy chapter number one go to verse number 12 this is a letter if you don't

know much about the bible this is a letter from an, an old, like an OG uncle in the faith named

Paul, and he's writing to a young man in the faith, a young leader named Timothy. Other translations

say Timothy, present. And, okay, are we going to have fun today or not?

Okay, that was a great key and peel.

And Paul is writing with passion for this young leader,

and he's right, in fact, he's so passionate about the success and development of young Tim that he writes to him two times.

And he's at the age where he's like, it's not about what I can get, it's now about what I can give.

And I pray that over your life that you graduate to the maturity that it's no longer about

getting, but now it's all about giving. And so Paul is writing to young Tim, and he's going to say

a few things that are revolutionary for our faith. He says things to Timothy like this. He says,

God has not given you a spirit of fear, Tim, but a spirit of power and love and sound mind.

Paul is going to tell Tim, hey, Timothy, don't let anybody look down on you because of your age.

Age ain't nothing but a number.
