It is another beautiful morning in South Carolina.

The sky is clear, wind is calm, temperature is mild, and this morning there is the added aspect of ground fog.

So I'm walking on a sidewalk next to a street that has a double yellow line, and on each side of the street are large fields.

And right now, hovering over both of the fields is this thin layer of ground fog. And I don't know exactly why that happened some mornings and not others.

That would take a level of science knowledge that I do not possess, but it's just gorgeous.

It's one of those walks where I wish it were also video so you could see what I'm seeing.

I don't think I'm painting the picture in a way that causes you to go,

I was to envision myself as a baseball play-by-play announcer.

I grew up loving baseball, still love it.

And as a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, I got to listen to some of the all-time great play-by-play announcers,

and those guys were masters at painting an audio picture

of what was transpiring on the baseball field in front of them in a way that

as a listener you could just see it even though you couldn't see it and I would love to be able to do that

but I don't think me saying yeah this, this ground fog looks great, is nearly at the same level.
