Hello listeners, and welcome to the next installment in the night time podcasts UFOs of Ove Canada series.

In tonight's episode, I got something really special for you.

As has been made clear time and time again in this series, conversations around sightings of unexplained objects in the sky tend to lean heavily on the account of the person or people who saw the object.

Sure, we may have the grainy photo or blurry video here and there, but they never seem to hold much water.

It's the eye witness accounts that I want to hear about.

Typically, the witness is an untrained observer, someone who's often left without the words or experiences to fully describe what they have seen.

Then, every so often, we have the exception. And tonight is going to be one of those times.

In June of 1997, two Halifax police officers took a quick break from the action to have a coffee and a quick chat.

They pulled into a dark parking lot behind a Tim Hortons, park their cruisers, window to window, and start at their break, fully unaware that their lives were both to change forever.

Within only minutes, an object would appear in the sky that to this day, over 25 years later, they have been unable to explain.

And we're about to hear all about it. Let's get right into it.

Tonight in this episode of Nighttime, I'm going to be joined by Rick Prescott, formerly known as Constable Prescott of the Halifax Regional Police Force.

And Rick's going to tell us about the two Halifax police officers in the UFO.

Rick, I'm so happy you can be joining me from afar. The story we're going to be discussing takes place in Nova Scotia.

Oh, my God. There wasn't a part of that province that I didn't know like the back of my hand.

They need to be armed. I fly to the area. I hunt at the area. I live outdoors there.
