Summary
While borrowing her best friend’s laptop, Anna discovered a mysterious folder labeled “Him.” Inside were two documents — personal journal entries describing eerie encounters with a dark figure who appeared at night and whispered through dreams. She brushed it off as fiction… until she met Him herself.
It began with a black silhouette between two houses. Then came the suffocating pressure that pinned her down in her own kitchen. And finally — the night at the bonfire. In the dark Oregon woods, Anna found her friend in the arms of a man who wasn’t human. The air shimmered, time fractured, and everything went black.
When she woke, her friend insisted “He” had only been protecting them — that He cared for her, even loved her. But from what? And at what cost?
Years later, Anna still feels Him near — in mirrors, in tree-lines, in the silence before sleep. Some stories don’t end. They wait.
