0:31.7	time to do a special episode on monkeypox. And this time you don't have to go to your car in the
0:38.2	parking lot. Yes, this is true. This is true. And I think it's timely because, boy, I am getting a
0:45.2	lot of questions and and it's probably also, you know, it's a good sort of public service for us to
0:50.6	at least get a little bit of information, hopefully out there to clinicians to just people who are
0:55.8	not clinicians, just what's going on? Should they be worried? Is the sky falling? What should they
1:00.7	be thinking about? So I have a series of questions for you. And I thought we could start with those and
1:06.4	have a couple of references, a nice document from European CDC, the latest pro-med male post.
1:13.8	So let's just start. What is monkeypox? So it's really nice in this situation, right, Vincent?
1:20.8	Because there's monkeypox, the virus and monkeypox, the disease. We don't have to remember two different
1:26.5	things. So monkeypox, the virus. I'm hoping you rich in the team can jump in. It's a double-stranded
1:34.4	DNA virus. So perfect example when people start worrying about, oh, how do we check for this? It's
1:39.2	it's got DNA just like us, double-stranded just like us. But it's in it's in it's a member of the
1:46.0	family, the Pax Veride. So it's in a family that we're familiar with. And there's really, and I think
1:52.4	this is really important. There are two different clades, two different groups, two different
1:59.0	variants, if people are familiar with that idea of virus that you can get infected with. They're
2:03.9	going to be slightly different monkeypox diseases. There's the more virulent, the Congo basin or
2:12.0	central African form of monkeypox. And then there's the West African form of monkeypox, which we think
2:18.5	has a lower mortality. And why did they call it monkeypox? Yeah, it's kind of a misnomer because
