Summary

In this episode of The Mommy Labor Nurse Podcast I had my friend (and doula!) Stephanie come on the show to share her unique twin birth story!

A lot of people don’t realize that twins do NOT have to be born via C-section. Tons of mamas are able to birth their twins vaginally. Your ability to do this depends mostly on the way the presenting baby is positioned. If they are head down, you’ll often get the green light for a vaginal birth.

They can definitely be born vaginally.

0:35.8

It kind of depends on which way for the baby A is positioned.

0:40.1

That's really the main thing.

0:42.1

There's a couple of other factors that play into it, but that's the main factor.

1:05.9

She came away from the experience with a very, very positive attitude,

1:11.0

and I think that's amazing.

1:13.1

And you'll hear her explain that in detail, and I just, I think it was just wonderful.

1:21.3

Because a lot of times, at least in my experience, that I've seen women have this similar experience,

1:27.9

having one twin born vaginally and having one twin born as a C-section,

1:33.1

it can be a negative experience.

1:37.1

So I love that Stephanie shared her story, and she shared it in a very, very positive light.
