Hello, everyone, and welcome to this week in Fantasy Baseball.

0:19.6

I'm John Cook, joined as always been Patrick Fitzgerald.

0:22.3

In this episode, we're going to go over the latest news and notes around baseball, recap hitter and pitcher performances from this past week. And of course, we're going to give some streamer recommendations at the end of the show. But before we get into all that, Patrick, how are you doing? Hey, John, I'm doing pretty well. I think we got a combined seven-game win streak between our two teams going right now, so got to love that. Fantasy teams are doing solid, but Brandon Roker left the game today is one of my most roster players after mid-at-bat after fouling off a ball. So I'm expecting an I-L st, still a little scared. But other than that, I'm doing

0:54.1

well. How about you? Yeah, doing great. Twins just swept the Tigers in a four-game series,

1:00.2

as you mentioned. So feeling really good about that. They also somehow managed to do in a way

1:05.9

where four different relievers picked up a save in the four-game sweep. So clearly, we don't have it closer

1:12.1

on this team. Our bullpen is just vibes purely. No one can throw over 95 miles an hour,

1:19.2

and yeah, that's going to be a winning bullpen in 2026, apparently. Yes, there's somebody named

1:25.4

Cody Lawyerson who has a save this year, apparently. I've never heard of them, and I feel like I know almost every player in the league. So he must be a real, real obscure guy if I have no idea who he is. Yeah, he was on the Twins last year. And then, I think, weirdly enough, they put him on waivers, then he got picked up by the Angels, then got put on waivers again, got picked up on another team, and they got put on waivers again, and the twins picked him up again. So over the course of the off season, he joined two separate teams and then still ended up on the original team that he was in 2025. I guess it was destiny. Yeah. Eric Orsie, I believe, picked up a save as well.

2:01.7

Nowhere near a household name.

2:03.1

I'm pretty sure his roster should percentage is like less than 1%.

2:06.3

But, yeah, the Brett Rooker thing, that's super unfortunate.

2:11.8

I saw he's also, he's like my main outfielder, like my home league.

2:16.5

And I'm, yeah, a little annoyed that he's now probably going to be out for, well, we'll see, right? It was just, it didn't, it wasn't necessarily, it seems like it might be an oblique thing, which would be just the worst case scenario. But hopefully it's nothing too serious for him. Yeah, I don't think he, like, popped something or a tour or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he misses a few weeks. He was off to a little bit slow start, but it had a couple homers this weekend, and that was stealing a couple of bags. I was hoping he would turn it around, but might have to wait a little bit, unfortunately. Yeah, yeah, it's the reality, right, of fantasy. So you just have to deal with the punches.

2:53.0

Thankfully, no one else, huge has gotten hurt.

2:56.4

I guess Hunter Brown on one of my teams.

2:59.1

He was going to be my ace, and now he's going to be out for probably at least a month,

3:02.8

if not longer.

3:03.5

So that's, that's unfortunate.

3:04.9

Yeah, just proving again and again that, you know, trying to predict picture injuries can be pretty, pretty frustrating work sometimes because he's as durable as it gets. Exactly. Well, well, before we get into the rest of the injuries from this past week, just a reminder that you can follow our podcast on Twitter at This WeekPL. You could send us your fantasy baseball questions to our email at this week p.l pot at gmail.com. Lastly, make sure you subscribe to or follow the podcast on whatever stream of the platform you listen to. We're on all of them, Spotify, Apple, YouTube. Wherever you listen, make sure you follow us and leave a five-star view if you enjoy the show. All right, we're going to get started with injury list information. We're going to start with some placements.

3:40.9

And I guess we'll start with Hunter Brown.
